Business 2 Business

The In-tend Business 2 Business (B2B) portal allows suppliers to sub-contract with each other from a busy but simple to navigate portal linked to the buyers e-Tendering Organiser module. The portal is defined as being an on-line business community with the aim to boost local economy by giving local businesses, social enterprises and the voluntary sector the support and contacts they need to win more business. The portal is used to advertise news, local events and provide practical guidance to local businesses.

The B2B Portal will, amongst other things, provide a platform for local businesses, irrespective of their size to register and alert others to precisely what products and services they can supply. The aim of the B2B Portal which has been designed by in-tend, is to provide opportunities for all within your local business community.

Features of the in-tend Business 2 Business portals:

• Business network Portal for local suppliers – Branded to your authority
• One for all registration – Suppliers register on the B2B or In-Tend Supplier Site
• Platform for clear public advertisement of local and open opportunities
• Business to Business – Suppliers can sub-contract each other for work
• Local Business Tender Alert System
• Blogs, News, Events, Job Boards for both Suppliers & Buyers (login determined)
• Easy for the authority to update & customize via Content Management System
• Links with the In-tend Organiser for reporting, rights & permissions etc.
• Workflow & Approval systems in place for people adding content to the site
• Simple Request For Quote facility for suppliers to sub-contract other suppliers
• Document storage area for suppliers
• Fully 100% controlled, modified, updated and approved by the authority administrators – All content whether buyer or supplier submitted is subject to approvals – rights and permissions determined.
